Meet our Dentists
Dr Jessica Li
I graduated from Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from University of Melbourne. Before establishing Camberwell Junction Dental, I worked for several years in family oriented private practices in Melbourne with a special interest in de-sensitising nervous patients. I strongly believe in Continuing Professional Development and have a keen interest in all aspects of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I am a member of the Australian Dental Association.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, making French desserts and travel.
Whether you wish to transform your smile, or maintain a healthy, bright smile, I look forward to welcoming you at Camberwell Junction Dental.
Dr Wayne Ly
I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007. Immediately after graduation, I moved to Bendigo, where I worked in private practice and at La Trobe University as a clinical demonstrator. I returned to Melbourne in 2011 and have since worked in private practice in Camberwell, Preston and Melbourne CBD.
In order to provide my patients with the best treatment possible, I aim to stay as up-to-date with my continuing professional development as possible. In 2015, I completed the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons' primary examination with a letter of commendation.
I will endeavour to make your visit as comfortable as possible, and I hope to help you achieve your oral health goals using the latest techniques and technologies available.
In my free time, I enjoy cycling and walking my dog, Cookie. I also train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to stay fit. In summer I like to play tennis and in winter I enjoy skiing.
Dr Ronald Chan
After graduating from the University of Melbourne I moved to Ballarat to work. It was interesting to live the rural Victorian life and it felt very familiar to me as I grew up in Tasmania. This experience gave me a different perspective of dentistry which broadened my views in the way I work. Since then I have moved back to Melbourne and worked at a number of different practices, learning all the time before arriving at Camberwell Junction Dental.
I am interested in all aspects of dentistry and aim to provide a personalised treatment plans which are catered for your needs. I hope everyone who comes in to see me will leave happy with their smile. I also aim to build a long relationship with all my patients as this is the best way to prevent future dental problems. It's always interesting meeting all the people on their first visit and I look forward to hearing the stories of new patients.
Outside of dentistry I enjoy watching movies and I'm often at the cinema watching the latest release. I also like exploring Melbourne especially on my bike.
Dr Alexander Chen
I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009, and have worked in rural, suburban and city practice in Bendigo and Canberra since. In this time, I have worked with a wide range of patients with different needs and expectations, and with this experience, I am able to offer individualised dental treatment to patients, including clear explanations about their treatment options. I enjoy the variety of work that comes with general dentistry, and have a particular interest in removing wisdom teeth. I like making dental visits relaxed, and enjoy getting to know new patients and hearing about their experiences. Sometimes I find sharing my own dental experiences helps to calm nervous patients.
